This plat map was reprinted from the Illustrated Atlas of Door County, which was published in 1899 by the Oshkosh firm of Randall & Williams. Note that the map is titled “Washington” referring to the name of the township that also includes Rock, Detroit, and Plum Islands. The plat maps contained in this particular atlas represent some of the earliest such maps of the county.
