Liberty Grove Township is the largest township in Wisconsin's Door County. Located at the northern tip of the Door Peninsula, a few miles due south of Washington Island, Liberty Grove occupies 36,331 acres which face Green Bay on the west, Green Bay and Lake Michigan on the east. The south is the land area of Door Peninsula. The shoreline is approximately 45 miles long. Several large bays jut inland including North Bay, Sand Bay, and Rowleys Bay on the east, Wisconsin Bay and Garrett Bay on the north, and Ellison Bay, Sister Bay, and Little Sister Bay on the west. Other major waterways are the Mink River at Rowleys Bay and land-locked Europe Lake in the northeast area of the township.

The Liberty Grove Historical Society is publishing this photo history to acquaint others with our rich history.
